Handle Construction

You have a choice of a traditional style handle, split grip (most popular), or a combination of the two. Handles can be made from traditional cork, burl cork, foam, or woven graphite.

guides and guide wraps

You can choose from a wide variety of guide styles and materials and ring materials. The wraps can be in any color you choose, your price includes the basic wrap with one trim wrap if you choose. Single foot guides are wrapped with the Forhan Locking Wrap it prevent them from slipping out of the wrap.

Reelseats

Reelseats now come in a wide variety of styles. Most of my casting rods have an exposed blank reelseat. Spinning seats are typicaly a Fuji DNPSD reelseat as I feel this is the most comfortable to hold in your hand. As with all custom rods, you can choose whatever style you want!   

Pricing and Warranty

Pricing for all rods is material costs plus $85 labor. This is for a basic rod with one color guide wrap. I will give you a price breakdown when you order.

Accent wraps $5 per color.

Decorative thread wraps are $50 for either a chevron on diamond pattern. 

A $100 deposit is required for all custom orders. This is non refundable and will applied to the final price.  

Shipping costs are $25 for up to two rods. Rods are shipped in a hard plastic tube and shipped via USPS or Fed Ex.

Kansas residents add 7.9% sales tax.

Warranty

All warranty information from the blank manufacturer applies to you rod and can vary from each manufacturer. You will be informed of their warranties at time of order.
